April 2024 proclaimed as National Child Abuse Prevention Month in the City of Wolfforth
On April 1, 2024, Mayor Charles Addington presented a Proclamation at the City Council meeting naming April as Child Abuse Prevention Month for the City of Wolfforth. Many events are being held throughout Lubbock County to emphasize the importance of families and communities working together to prevent child abuse and neglect.
City of Wolfforth Assistant City Manager/Police Chief Rick Scott took part in the Go Blue Lubbock Campaign Kickoff on Wednesday, April 3 joining other local leaders and community partners in the mission to bring awareness to this issue.
