City of Wolfforth Recognizes Public Works Employee Certifications

The City of Wolfforth wishes to recognize employees Ty Stewart and Joshua Gilmore on the accomplishment of earning their Class C Water Distribution License through Amarillo College. The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality issues Occupational Licensing in Water, Wastewater and Irrigation along with many other specialties. The Class C Water Distribution license requires applicants to have two years of work experience, complete 30 hours of classroom instruction and successfully complete a final exam in the areas of basic waterworks operations, water distribution and water utility safety. What does this mean to you as a citizen of Wolfforth?  These gentlemen are committed, trained, and licensed as System Operators with the knowledge and experience to ensure that you are delivered the best, cleanest, safest water possible as a Wolfforth customer.  We value the commitment of these employees to continue to further their knowledge in their field, and we thank and congratulate Mr. Stewart and Mr. Gilmore on this achievement.
