Wolfforth Gives Back to the Water Treatment Community

Wolfforth Gives Back to the Water Treatment Community

This past week, employees of Wolfforth had the opportunity to participate with other Public Works departments from around the world. The company, Veolia, is the city’s current manufacturer of water treatment stacks, that allow municipalities to comply with regulatory requirements and treatment of water contaminants.

Veolia chose Wolfforth as a site for several workers from Australia to come train on moving from a single-thick to a double-thick carbonized platinum electrode, which is what the City of Wolfforth currently uses. This site was chosen due to the knowledge of the employees of Public Works to the success of our Water Treatment Plant. Along with the City of Wolfforth’s current units being upgraded, our city had the opportunity to share the information we have gained over the years with other countries.
