PUBLIC HEARING

 The Wolfforth City Council will conduct Public Hearings on Monday, January 23, 2012, at 6:00 p.m., and Monday, January 30, 2012, at 6:00 p.m., in the City Hall Meeting Room, 302 Main Street, Wolfforth, Texas to give all interested parties the right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation by the City of Wolfforth of the following described properties: 

A tract out of the tract of land described in Lubbock County Clerk’s File #2010013546, being located in the NW/4 of Section 31, Block D-6, Lubbock County, Texas: 

BEGINNING at a 1/2" IR found for the SE corner of this tract and the SE corner of the above mentioned parent tract, at the intersection of the N/line of the 20' Alley adjacent to Lots 1 & 2 of J. Henry Addition to the City of Wolfforth, Texas, and the W/line of Flint Avenue of the City of Wolfforth, Texas; 

THENCE, S 89°46'42" W, along Alley line, a distance of 80.00' to a 1/2" IR set for the SW corner of this tract; 

THENCE, N 0°17'53" W, a distance of 50.00' to a 1/2" IR set for the NW corner of this tract;  

THENCE, N 89°46'42" E, a distance of 80.00' to a 1/2" IR set in the W/line of Flint Avenue for the NE corner of this tract; 

THENCE, S 0°17'53" E, along W/line of Flint Avenue, a distance of 50.00' to the PLACE OF BEGINNING.

PUBLIC HEARINGS 

The Wolfforth Planning and Zoning Board will conduct a Public Hearing on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 6:00 p.m., and the Wolfforth City Council will conduct a Public Hearing on Monday, February 6, 2012, at 6:00 p.m., both hearings in the City Hall Meeting Room, 302 Main Street, Wolfforth, Texas.  The purpose of the hearings is to consider changing the zoning designation from R1 to C1 with a Conditional Use for a residence, to allow for construction of an accessory building prior to construction of the residence, for the following lot:

Henry J, Block 1, Lot 19 (916 11th Street)

Wolfforth, Texas

All interested parties are invited to attend and participate.
