This budget will raise more revenue from property taxes than last year's budget by an amount of  $132,343, which is an 8.24% increase from last year's budget.  The total includes property tax revenue of  $86,532 to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year.

 Public Hearings to take comments on the proposed tax rate were held on Monday, August 18, 2014 and Monday, September 8, 2014. 

The budget was adopted on September 15, 2014 by the following vote:

Nay:  None 

The tax rate was adopted by Ordinance No. 445, on September 15, 2014, by the following vote:

Aye:  Councilmembers Merrill, MacNair, Gross, Vardy, and Cooper
